A ceramic coating bonds to your paint and protects it for years — deep gloss, easy washing, and a shield against Missouri sun, salt, and grime.

What ceramic coating does

Unlike wax (weeks) or sealant (months), a professional ceramic coating chemically bonds to your clear coat and lasts 2–5 years. It delivers a deep, wet-look gloss, a hydrophobic surface that sheds water and dirt, UV protection against fade, and far easier maintenance.

What it doesn't do

  • It isn't scratch-proof — it resists fine swirls but won't stop rock chips.
  • It doesn't replace washing — it just makes washing easier.
  • It won't fix existing damage — swirls should be corrected first (see paint correction).

Is it worth it?

It usually pays off if you park outside, keep your car for several years, want the easiest upkeep, or just had paint correction you want to protect. Read the full breakdown in our journal: Is Ceramic Coating Worth It?
